To ensure the best outcome, it’s important to follow the instructions provided prior to your surgery. These may include:
Fasting Before Surgery
If you are undergoing sedation or general anesthesia, you may be required to fast for at least 8 hours before your procedure.
Medications
Inform us of any medications you are currently taking. We may advise you to adjust or discontinue certain medications before surgery.
Clothing
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing with short sleeves, especially if you are undergoing IV sedation or general anesthesia.
Avoid Wearing
Contact lenses, jewelery, tongue/lip piercings, nail polish, dentures and make up on day of surgery.
Accompaniment
For certain procedures, you will need someone to drive you home after surgery.
